Karnataka would approach SC on Hogenakkal: Krishna
New Delhi, April 5
Former Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna has said the state would approach the Supreme Court on the Hogenakkal issue and he was not "concerned" whether the DMK will get upset or the ruling UPA coalition will get affected by the move.
"We can always go to the Supreme Court you know, so that protection is there for every state," he told a private television news channel.
Asked if the Central leadership would allow the Karnataka unit of the party to go ahead with the move, the former Governor of Maharashtra, who has made a comeback into state politics said, "....If it comes to that, we have no other alternative".
"...We are not really concerned whether the DMK is going to be upset or it is going to have an impact on the Central Government, all that we are concerned is how does this project affect Karnataka in terms of the water sharing agreement between Karnataka and the Tamil Nadu," he said when asked whether the Congress will risk upsetting the DMK which is a coalition partner at the Centre.
The central leadership of the party, however, had adopted a cautious approach yesterday saying the state units of the party in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu were free to take their own stands in the matter.
The party apparently adopted cautious approach on the issue in view of the coming Assembly elections in Karnataka.
Comments:
Mr. Krishna should know, how shamfull and sinfull act against hindu dharma for resisting the drinking water.

Comments on Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire
Ah, finally. After being the focal point of attraction and anticipation for a long time, the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is here at last! And it’s pig ugly… actually no, it is not all that bad afterall. Not as bad as many thought it would be. Just like what Indigo was for Tata – an Indica with a boot, the Swift Dzire is a Swift hatch with a boot. Or is it?
As for looks, it does look like the boot has been slapped on to the rear without giving the design a due thought. It looks incongruous with the front end. The front does manage to look smart, owing to the Swift’s handsome and bulbous front end. The panel gaps are very pronounced and the shut lines of the rear doors and boot are very distinct.
Maruti Suzuki Swift DzireSimilar to SX4, the boot line of the Dzire is also high-set which might create an issue with rear visibility. The clamor-inducing back side of the Dzire looks like a fat lady’s behind marked by a chrome strip running across the boot. The tail-lamps also shout ‘Swift’ everytime you look at them. The suspension, though similar in geometry, has been worked upon and tweaked to handle the extra weight that Dzire carries on the Swift platform that it sits on.
A choice of two engines is on the plate. Lurking under that ‘Swift’ bonnet to satisfy the ‘performance’ hungry blokes will be a 1.3L petrol engine while the 1.3L DDiS engine from its hatchback sister will be the oil-burning motor. Sharing the Swift platform, the Dzire will perhaps be marginally better on the space front.
Maruti Suzuki Swift DzireStarting at Rs. 4.49 lakh for the Lxi version, the top end version will retail for about 6.70 lakh. The Dzire comes in six variants (three petrol and three diesel), Zxi and Zdi being the top end petrol and diesel variants respectively. The most VFM factor will be with the Vxi and Vdi, we believe.
How is the Dzire on the road and to live with? You will have all the answers soon when we test this car exhaustively. Watch this space!

1.Now that the project is delayed. Who will bear the cost escalation due to this delay?
2.Will SM Krishna stop drinking Mineral water and take Flouride water from Dharmapuri Village wells?
3. Why not he advise Karnataka farmers to go in for pulses instead of Paddy and sugarcane which consume more water. The saved water can be given to Dharmapuri dt people for more essential DRINKING WATER.
4. Can karnataka bear the flood relief paid to the tamilnadu farmers last year. karnataka held more than sufficient qty of water in its reservoirs. .And suddenly when it rained they released it resulting in heavy floods in Tamilnadu. Now Karnataka should pay compensation for this(punishment for their mistake) .OK?

The Kannadigas argue that since Cauvery originates in Karnataka, they have full first rights in using it. You know that Sindh,Ganges and Brahmaputra originate outside India? If they block the water there won't be any Bharath left. International water treaties always give priority to Delta and Lower riparian states. No state has the right to block and rule a river just because the river originates there. Self seeking Kannada leaders instigate the poor kannadigas to gain political and Financial mileage. After loosing all the court and Tribunal cases still they play games and cheat a largely innocent Karnataka people.Pl understand.Since the central Govt has cleared the project with the consent of Karnataka govt, there is no chance of Tamilnadu stopping the scheme. Pl don't waste your and everybody's time. At this stage even the Supreme court will rule 100% against Karnataka only. Legally, Tamilnadu can use the water entering its area can use it whatever means and ways.Don't waste your time fighting a loosing battle. If Karnataka refuses to respect Supreme court judgements, the court will stop hearing all the cases from and By karn.Govt. This will create a serious problem. Be patient. Pl don't oppose anything for the sake of opposing. We Telugus and even Marathis feel sad about you. The strikes spoil the Karnataka economy a lot. Best way is Give and Take. Adjust with your neighbours. You and I cannot change International laws and treaties. Which is better? Agriculture in a Rocky karnataka land or Delta in Tamilnadu. More productivity is good for the country. Pl down your swords and see reasons. As somebody wrote before, Andhra implimented Telugu Ganga because 30% of the Beneficieries in Chennai are Telugus. LIkewise By letting water Karnataka brothers quench the thirst of Dharmapuri district which had 30% Kannadigas. Its a big sin to stop somebody's drinking water. U will end up only in hell. The water scheme is reciprocal (Karnataka's Bangaluru and TN's hogenakkal.

Oh.Kannadiga friends, stop this type of racial slurs. Karnataka has water and boundary problem with Kerala, Maharashtra and Andhra too. But why they are not attached. No vegeance attitude? Why only Tamils are being targetted and attacked? Telugu People dominate in all professions in Bangaluru. Why they are spared?Over a million Tamils live and work in Delhi and Mumbai. Why they are not targetted hhere?Over 25 lakh Tamils live in Kerala. Why they live peacfully after all they are form the same state. This shows the tunnel minded Kannadiga politicians using innocent Kanndigas to further their Political ambitions. Tamils accepted Mysore Born Jayalalitha as their Leader and CM too. Father of Dravidian Movement and Guru of Karunanithi and MGR was E,V.Ramaswamu Naik(periyar), a KANNADIGA. is still highly respected by Tamils. When are you going to get this broad mindedness? Throw your Politicians into Cauvery and Arabian Sea. Throw your Tunnel vision also. Karnataka is the least Educated among all the southern states This is the main cause of all problems. Thats why the dirty Vattal Nagaraj and others are able to misguide u into these useless anti national Riots. Educated Kanndigas should think and change this trend .No meaning in finding fault with Tamils. After all TAMILS did not Steal the Kannadiga Brains. Tamils are not responsible for Illitracy in karnataka. U Ankootaa Chaaps.First DEVELOP BROADMINDEDNESS --

When Maharashtra raised the issue of Hubli-dharwar, karnataka says "it is an already setteld issue-by the state reorganising commission. Now it says Hogenakkal is ours. This double game fetched them alround enmity. Supreme court rightfully asked Karnataka"Whats wrong with you. You are fighting with all the neighbouring states. And no friends around" Yaah every right thinking person repeats the same. Why Karnataka has only enemies all around and no growth? Why should they loose all the cases against the neighbours?Tunnel visioned and no magnanimity( especially among the Politicians)is the main cause. Kannadigas, finish off these nasty anti National Politicians. Make them drop all illegal, illogical demands.

This is what we call "Self Appraisal"
Its time for our Appraisal before that do a self appraisal like this:
"Self Appraisal"
A little boy went into a drug store, reached for a soda carton and pulled it over to the telephone. He climbed onto the carton so that he could reach the buttons on the phone and proceeded to punch in seven digits (phone numbers).
The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation:
Boy: "Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?
Woman: (at the other end of the phone line): "I already have someone to cut my lawn."
Boy: "Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price of the person who cuts your lawn now."
Woman: I'm very satisfied with the person who is presently cutting my lawn.
Boy: (with more perseverance) : "Lady, I'll even sweep
your curb and your sidewalk, so on Sunday you will
have the prettiest lawn in all of Palm beach , Florida."
Woman: No, thank you.
With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver. The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy.
Store Owner: "Son... I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job."
Boy: "No thanks,
Store Owner: But you were really pleading for one.
Boy: No Sir, I was just checking my performance at the
job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!"
This is what we call "Self Appraisal"

Habits That Help You Manage Your Stress
Today we have more stress in our lives than ever before – good stress, bad stress, red stress, blue stress . No matter what kind of stress it is, a real crisis or an imagined one, stress is incredibly harmful to our body, mind and soul.
Here are a few self-care habits for dealing with stress
1. Get in the habit of noticing.
Take an inventory of all the things that just don't feel right in your life or that you know are causing you stress. For example, when you approach certain people, places or situations do you feel more stress and tension? Once you have your list in place, look at what you can change yourself, and do it. You can also use this list to predict stressful situations before they occur.
2. Get in the habit of asking for help.
For what you can't change yourself, you need a team. Build a team of experts to handle your list. A coach, at the top of the list, will help with the big picture and will keep you honest about your efforts. Other team members might be a family doctor who listens to you, a financial planner, a massage therapist and an exercise partner.
3. Get in the habit of bouncing back.
Think of Plan A as your basic self-care plan while stress is under control. Now imagine something happens and you are under stress. Instead of abandoning all self-care because you can't do it all, have a Plan B ready beforehand.
4. Get in the habit of relaxing.
If you practice relaxation techniques (breathing, meditation, imagery, music) every day, then when stressful situations come up you'll have the tools at your fingertips.
5. Get in the habit of gratitude.
Our attitude comes from our emotions and our emotions come from our thoughts. Thinking about what we're grateful for and what we're good at can keep things positive. It's not about shying away from what's challenging you - it's about approaching life from a place of strength and not as a victim.
6. Get in the habit of creating.
Experiment with a new recipe in the kitchen, write a poem, bang a drum, do a craft, take a dance class or do something else that feels creative to you.
7. Get in the habit of putting your stuff away.
Physical clutter can really impact mental, emotional and physical health. Get rid of things that don't make you happy when you look at them. Organize your stuff. Find a place for everything and keep it there.
8. Get in the habit of breathing.
This is the simplest and quickest way to relax yourself in a stressful situation. The minute you focus on your breathing it automatically gets slower and deeper.
9. Get in the habit of daydreaming.
Take yourself away on an imaginary holiday. Just close your eyes and go! Picture somewhere you've been or somewhere you've dreamed of.
10. Get in the habit of giggling.
Laugh out loud every day.

White Teeth - Go Get Them !
Many people have stained front teeth and they look bad when they smile or laugh. They stains may give the impression of bad oral hygiene but the cause may be somewhere else. It is important to understand the cause of the problem and try to find a long term or cosmetic cure. White teeth always look good and they enhance confidence levels and also one's personality. So let us strive for them.
Some possible causes of these dirty brown stains on the pearly white teeth may be identified as below. These are some common cause and your problem may be due to some totally other reason. In that case you are requested to consult a professional dentist.
More than two cups of coffee a day can cause your white teeth to stain quickly. These brown stains manifest on the front teeth and are difficult to get rid of.
Another common cause is, red wine. This red wine can quickly stain your teeth and the cosmetic cure can be really expensive .
Smoking is another common cause of brown teeth. Look around , most long term smokers will have stained yellow teeth. Tobacco cause quick staining which is again very difficult to remove.
Gum disease , infections and bad oral hygiene can also cause white teeth to turn yellow.
I suggest the following home remedies and basic dental care . If this does not work or the condition is chronic then you definitely need to consult a dentist. Or try a cosmetic dental treatment.
Reduce coffee and red wine intake and reduce smoking. This is common sense and also good for your body.
Try chewing raw vegetables , once a day . Raw vegetables are a healthy snack and they will also help in cleaning your teeth.
Strawberries have a natural bleaching effect and are high on Vitamin 'C'. So have some every day . This is a 'tasty' healthy solution to the yellow teeth problem. Of course make sure, you are not allergic to them.
Floss everyday. Stains form easily between teeth and flossing is an easy solution.
Brush your teeth everyday, every 12 hours. Do ensue the bristles are not worn out. Change your brush regularly. Old worn out brushes just cannot brush away plaque forming bacteria and are useless.
Try a natural herbal cure :
Rub some burnt almond shell powder lightly on your front teeth , twice a day and check the results after a fortnight. You may be surprised!
Try putting some raw common salt on your tooth paste before brushing. The fine grains of the salt will remove and reduce yellow stains and bring a white shine back to your teeth.
Another home remedy that works with many kind of stains is to rub the teeth with a bay leaf , thrice a week. This seems to work for many people and is inexpensive.
If nothing works then:
Get your teeth professionally cleaned and polished by a dentist.
Go for professional bleaching job after studying the pros and cons of the process.
You may also try various bleaching packs and home teeth whitening systems. You may require these to maintain the white shine, especially if you cannot control smoking, coffee and red wine intake. Do read and understand the 'patented' process before rushing to buy some. A comparison between various options available in the market will definitely be beneficial.
